Starting from the year 2009, Central cooperative bank Plc Skopje in corporation with the Financial Union Skopje offers the service of fast money transfer through the global system of Western Union.
Western Union represents a service for fast money transfer, which provides receiving and sending money all around the world, using a very quick and simple way, without having to open a bank account. Any person who needs to send or receive money in cash can use the Western Union Money Transfer. The global network of Western Union Money Transfer is mostly used by:
- Emigrants who help their closest ones;
- Parents who help their children studying abroad;
- Tourists and travelers who urgently need money; and
- Business people when traveling abroad.
Characteristics
Safety
Each transfer is monitored through a unique control number for money transfer, which guarantees that your money is ready for payout exclusively to the recipient.
Speed
The money is ready to be raised only a few minutes* once sent. Western Union uses advanced technology and unique computer network all around the world, which allows payment to be executed immediately.
Availability
There are over 300.000** locations all around the world, where the senders and the recipients can send or raise their money. It is not necessary for you to own account in the bank. Most of the agents worldwide are available to serve you throughout the whole day, the whole week or the whole year.
* Subject to the time of working and the different time zones.
** In some countries the service of delivery of money is not available, so that customers can only raise money.
Delivery of money
- Come to the nearest branch office of Central cooperative bank Plc Skopje. Our employees will fulfill the form for you.
- The completed form for sending money, signed by you, along with the money that you send, the commission and the document for identification, hand them to the employee of the bank.
- For each money delivery you will get a receipt with a control number (MTCN).
- Inform the recipient of the money transfer and report to him the control number and the amount that you have sent.
- The monthly limit for sending monetary assets is up to 2,500.00 EUR.
- The sender of the funds pays a commission determined by Western union.
Receiving money
- It is necessary for the sender to inform you for the control number of the transfer, when is the money sent through an agent of WesternUnionMoneyTransfer and at what amount.
- The completed form for receiving the money with the specified data for the country where the money is sent from, the name of the sender and the amount that you are expecting, signed by you, along with the document for identification, hand them to the employee of the bank.
- After verification of the control number and your personal data, your money will be paid out.
- The daily limit for receiving money is up to 5.000,00 EUR.
- The recipient does not pay commission on the incoming funds.
To send and/or raise money you need a valid document for identification – an ID card or a passport.
The transactions can be realized only in two currencies - euro or dollars.
Service for fast money transfer – Western Union – it is performed in accordance with the legal provisions that regulate the receiving and sending money to residents and non-residents in the Republic of Macedonia, in accordance with instructions provided to the Agent by Western Union, the instructions provided by the Agent and The tariff for compensations of Western Union.
If you perform the transfers via Western Union outside the bank locations, Central cooperative bank Plc Skopje does not incur any responsibility; either receives any kind of reclamation for that transfer.
Tariff
The commission for the service for fast money transfer charged in MKD counter value according to the exchange rate list determined by Western Union.
The commission for delivering the money is paid only by the sender. The recipient of the money is not a subject to any expenses.
The commission for delivering the money is charged in MKD.
